Voice operations
A conversation should move the operation forward.
We design AI-assisted inbound and outbound calling systems that identify, inform, capture, route, and document work—with explicit human ownership.
Designed as an operation
Not a bot attached to a phone number.
A complete voice system includes the business rules before the call, the knowledge used during it, and the accountable workflow that follows.
Answer authorized questions and complete defined low-risk tasks.
Convert the conversation into a case, request, appointment, or follow-up.
Move exceptions, sensitive decisions, and risk to an accountable person.
Preserve the authorized record needed for review and continuous improvement.
Inbound
Available when the operation needs to listen.
- Customer and occupant support
- Service request intake
- Scheduling and reservations
- Incident or maintenance reporting
- Frequently requested information
- Qualification and human handoff
Outbound
Controlled outreach with a defined purpose.
- Appointment and service reminders
- Delivery and field-work coordination
- Authorized account notifications
- Maintenance and inspection scheduling
- Customer follow-up
- Consent-based campaign workflows
Responsible automation
Compliance requirements belong in the architecture.
Disclosure, consent, calling purpose, caller identification, permitted hours, opt-out handling, recordkeeping, data access, and escalation requirements vary by jurisdiction and use case. Northbridge designs controls into each deployment and requires appropriate legal review where needed.
In the United States, AI-generated voices fall within existing rules governing artificial or prerecorded voice calls. Telemarketing activity can also trigger federal and state requirements.
